Mutes is a very simple 4hp module for muting a signal with a latching switch

 

A 10mm plastic spacer could be glued between the panel and top of the circuit board for extra stability

R2,R4,R6,R8 – 100R 0603 SMD resistors

R1,R3,R5,R7 – 2K 0603 SMD resistors (adjust to taste for led brightness)

D1 – 1N4148 smd diode
