Monsoon Parasites Cheatsheet

This listing is for a full kit with SMD pre soldered. Includes power cable and mounting screws.

Parasites firmware is pre installed, all you have to solder are the leds/jacks/pots/switches.

Please note the polarity of the Freeze button that is marked on the pcb!

SLIDER LED ORIENTATION

Pull out the leds that are in the sliders, cut the pins on the included two pin leds to the same length and push into the slider.

Send a positive voltage to the appropriate CV control for each slider, if the led lights red pull it out and flip it over.

You will have to calibrate the module yourself but it is a simple procedure.

Hold down the right hand button while you power on your case.

send 1V to the v/oct input

press the edit button

send 3V to the v.oct input

press the edit button again

Done!

Monsoon features sliders for the four main controls with bipolar leds to give visual feedback of the cv amount, and four pots with cv inputs for the different effect parameters (wet/dry – stereo width – feedback – reverb amount) that were only accessible with repeated button pushes on the original.

Redesign by Jakplugg Open Source from a concept by Pusherman’s Philip Wise.

All SMD is factory mounted.
